Plumeria or frangipani is named after Charles Plumier, a seventeenth-century French botanist who described several tropical species. The genus contains 8 species of mainly deciduous shrubs and trees, originally from Central America, known for their strongly fragrant flowers. Planting or Rooting Plumeria Cuttings

Set the cutting aside in a warm and dry location to allow the cut surface to dry and seal itself for three days at least (one week is better).
